La Liste

Here is my list of things I want to do before I'm 30 (in no particular order). This list was started in May 2011, and is being updated as I'm able to cross things off my list!


  1. Work for a travel company
  2. Visit every continent (just have South America and Antarctica left!)
  3. Write a book
  4. Participate in a flash mob
  5. Eat Thai food in Thailand
  6. Ride an elephant (and bathe, feed and perform a health check too!)
  7. Go to Carnivale in Brazil
  8. Get a professional photograph taken (that I love!)
  9. Live in France...again...preferably the south
  10. Learn to play poker professionally
  11. Re-learn to play the piano
  12. Get PADI certified for scuba diving
  13. Learn to salsa...properly
  14. Dive/snorkel the Great Barrier Reef
  15. Study yoga in an ashram
  16. Go on safari
  17. See the 8 Wonders of the World
  18. Learn to speak Spanish and Japanese. And if I have any free time, learn Portuguese.
  19. Live in Australia
  20. Skydive again
  21. Waterski
  22. Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge
  23. Go to a roller disco and learn to rollerskate
  24. Climb a volcano
  25. Buy a good camera and start taking great pictures (does an iPhone count?)
  26. Eat my way through Portland
  27. Travel to Southeast Asia
  28. White-water raft
  29. Be my own boss eventually
